About Mennonite Development Service Kenya

MDS Kenya

          Mennonite Development Services Kenya (MDS-Kenya) is the peace and social transformation arm of the Kenyan Mennonite Church. It was established by provisions of Article 14 of the Kenya Mennonite Church Constitution and operates as a Non-profit development organization in Kenya. It is responsible for the peace and social transformation work of the Kenya Mennonite Church and operates through the Diocesan Development Agencies. MDS-Kenya was established in 2019 to improve coordination of Kenya Mennonite Church peace and social transformation programs. MDS Kenya is specifically responsible for coordination, technical backstopping, resource mobilization as well as advocacy. The functions of the MDS-Kenya are governed by the MDS-Kenya board of Directors and the Kenya Mennonite Church National Executive Council.
